First Photoshoot…First Time in Print.

We were delighted to be asked to be a part of a beautiful photoshoot by Becca Lord-Lyon who owns the beautiful Edith & Winston Bridal wear who are located in Knutsford.

They specialise in bridal wear for the Curvy and Plus Size Bride and are the stockist of the truly stunning Callista gowns, that were due to be modelled at the shoot featuring George (in picture’s below) of Fuller Figure Fuller Bust.

This was the first photoshoot that QuaintlyKate had been asked to participate in so I was understandably nervous! Our theme was given of shades of Coral, Pink & Ivory so I set to work to create the required stationery.

Part of our signature style has evolved to include little highlights of subtle glitter and the odd tiny gem here and there but above all simple, elegant and understated. We got to work researching, studying the mood boards collated by Becca and we let our imagination run wild!

Our shoot was due to be printed in the beautiful Love our Wedding Magazine and in a blog by the lovely Andsotowed so the pressure was on!

The stationery was finally created in soft shades of peach and pink with delicate foliage that we highlighted with hand painted glitter to add subtle elegance…and of course staying true to your unique style.

The shoot was more beautiful than we imagined and located at the fabulous Isla Gladstone Conservatory at Anfield Road, Liverpool which is a beautiful location for weddings.

The absolute best part of this whole experience as undoubtedly the amazing people that we also met on the day too: Firrin Photography, Ruby Slippers Make Up Artist, Flowers by Pick Me

We love being able to create bespoke artisan stationery from our studio.

The vast majority of our stationery is printed in house and is hand painted and hand embellished with a whole lot of love and attention to detail.

But this day wasn’t just about us…it came together so beautifully as we all supported and championed each other and that is what I LOVE about shoots. The whole is brought together by individual elements and the passion each individual brings, be it a physical product, service or concept.
